By pressing the free side plate on the pin, the exact distance can be transferred to the rings. Now the hollow pin connecting link is expanded via the rotation of the pressure plate with the help of the rivet tip.
This handy AFAM Easy RIV -5- chain assembly tool makes it possible to rivet all chains with 5/8-inch connecting links and hollow pin head.
